SPR Principals Pamela Esterman, Daniel Riesel, Elizabeth Knauer, and Maggie Macdonald to Speak at Environmental Law 2026 Conference

On February 19-20, SPR Principals Pamela Esterman, Daniel Riesel, Elizabeth Knauer, and Maggie Macdonald will speak at the Environmental Law 2026 Conference, co-sponsored by the American Law Institute and Environmental Law Institute. The conference will take place at the Washington Marriott Georgetown in Washington, D.C. and is also available via live webcast.

The conference will feature two days of rich discussion and practical guidance on the latest developments across every major area of environmental law—from air, water, and species protection to climate, chemicals, and energy. The program will be taught by a nationally recognized faculty of private practitioners, former government lawyers, academics, and public interest leaders.

The American Law Institute’s Environmental Law Conference is the oldest annual environmental law conference in the country. The Conference was started by SPR attorneys in 1970, following the enactment of the National Environmental Policy Act. Pam and Dan have both chaired and lectured at the conference annually since the early 1980s.
