Rooftop and Carport Solar – NYCEEC

SPR represented a lender as sole counsel for a construction-to-term loan supporting Granite Canyon’s late-stage development of a 1.64 MW rooftop and carport solar PV system in Bladensburg, Maryland, which will participate in DC’s Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC) market and Maryland’s Community Solar Program. NYCEEC served as lead lender, with Calvert Impact, BlueHub Capital, and City First Enterprises participating. SPR’s work included the review of construction, permitting, state incentives, and tax credit regimes in approving projects and determining deal structures.
