SPR Associate Alexis Saba to Speak about Decarbonizing NYC Offices at NESEA BuildingEnergy NYC Conference

On October 24, from 10:30-11:30 AM, SPR Associate Alexis Saba will speak on the “Decarbonizing NYC Offices: Opportunities & Strategies for Success” panel at the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) BuildingEnergy NYC Conference.

Alexis and her fellow presenters will discuss how decarbonization of commercial tenant spaces helps drive compliance with building emissions standards such as NYC Local Law 97, corporate ESG goals, investor demands, and regulatory compliance requirements. The panel will highlight opportunities for energy efficiency and decarbonization in the commercial tenant leasing cycle, as well as strategies for owner-tenant collaboration in implementing sustainability requirements and goals.

Alexis will be joined by Katie Schwamb, the Director of Educational Resources for the Building Energy Exchange; Lauren Moss, the Senior Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer for Vornado Realty Trust; and Carlos Panchana, a Corporate Real Estate Manager for Neuberger Berman.
