On February 16-17, 2023, SPR principals
Daniel Riesel and
Pamela Esterman will co-chair the annual
American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE) Environmental Law Conference, co-sponsored by the Environmental Law Institute. This year’s program will be held in Arlington, Virginia. The program will feature advanced level presentations on recent developments in environmental law by senior public officials, distinguished law professors, seasoned private practitioners, and experienced public interest advocates. The panel topics include:

- Poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and Emerging Contaminants
- Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA)

SPR Attorneys have chaired this conference since its inception. Daniel Riesel will also lead a panel on CERCLA developments. Pam Esterman will lead a panel on Ethics for Environmental Lawyers.
