SPR Principal Mark Chertok to speak on ALI CLE webcast, “NEPA, Eagle County, and the Impacts of Deregulation: Environmental Review under the New Administration”

On July 1st from 12:00 – 1:30pm EST, SPR Principal Mark Chertok will serve as a speaker for the webcast, “NEPA, Eagle County, and the Impacts of Deregulation: Environmental Review under the New Administration,” hosted by the American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE).

The webcast will explore how the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County, Colorado opinion and the repeal of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) implementing regulations are redefining how environmental reviews are conducted nationwide. The program will include a deep dive into the Eagle County case, an examination of the status of NEPA regulations, and a discussion on best practices for moving forward in the private and nonprofit spaces.
