SPR Congratulates L + M Development Partners and Type A Projects on the opening of Bronx Point

Sive, Paget & Riesel congratulates L + M Development Partners and Type A Projects on the grand opening of the Bronx Point mixed-use development that will provide permanent affordable housing in the South Bronx.

Phase 1 of this development features over 500 affordable apartments and outstanding amenities, including: shared laundry room, gym, children’s playroom, an outdoor terrace and a community center (including The Hip Hop Museum). The project also creates a remarkable public open space, including more than 2.8 acres of first-class public waterfront adjacent to the City’s newly renovated Mill Pond Park. As environmental counsel, SPR shepherded the project through remediation under the New York State Brownfield Program (the site was previously a vacant industrial lot), helped obtain the necessary waterfront permits and approvals, and assisted with obtaining  governmental financing for this incomparable project.

SPR takes great pride in assisting L + M and Type A to realize such a valuable community asset in the South Bronx and looks forward to the 2025 opening of The Hip Hop Museum.
