Alexis Saba will discuss the highlights of the historic Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its implications for NYC Local Law 97 compliance in a panel discussion hosted by the
Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex). As part of BE-Ex’s “
Climate Mobilization Act Series: The IRA Meets New York” program, Alexis and her fellow expert panelists will examine the resources available in the IRA’s over $369 billion federal funding package and explore how stakeholders in New York State and City can access those funds for building decarbonization and renewable energy development. The panelists will also discuss how the IRA resources can complement existing incentives and funding sources, with an eye toward the first Local Law 97 compliance period beginning in 2024.
