Queens Community Solar – NYCEEC

SPR represented NYCEEC as sole counsel for a construction to-term loan to UGE for an 847 kW rooftop community solar project located in the College Point neighborhood of Queens, New York. The system will be located on the roof of a newly constructed commercial logistics property, with 45% of the energy generated by the project expected to be subscribed by low- to moderate-income residents. SPR’s work included the review of construction, permitting, state incentives, and tax credit regimes in approving projects and determining deal structures.
