Claire joined SPR in Fall 2024 after graduating from New York University School of Law.
At NYU Law, Claire was a Digital Editor for the New York University Environmental Law Journal, as well as served on the board for the Environmental Law Society. She participated in the Environmental Law Clinic with the Natural Resources Defense Council and was a Research Assistant for NYU Law’s State Energy and Environmental Impact Center. She was also in a clinical program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she worked with Fundación Ambiental de Recursos Naturales, a local environmental organization.
Claire spent her 1L summer as a Law Clerk at the California Attorney General Office’s Environment Section, where she worked on cases brought under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). She joined SPR for her 2L summer, during which she assisted with litigation, as well as matters involving environmental due diligence, offshore wind transmission, and permitting.
Prior to law school, Claire worked at a public-interest law firm, where she supported the firm’s environmental and human rights litigation practices. She has also worked at a variety of environmental nonprofits in New Jersey and New York City. Claire earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies with honors from New York University.
