Associate

Ying focuses her practice on transactional matters in the energy and infrastructure space. She has represented sponsors, financial institutions and developers in connection with the acquisition, installation, development, construction, financing, and operation of domestic and international infrastructure and energy projects. She has experience in negotiating and drafting project development documents, debt financing documents, and corporate transactional documents. She has participated in corporate and debt transactions involving conventional and renewable energy projects (including solar, wind, battery storage, hydroelectric, and geothermal), oil and gas assets, and transmission assets.

Prior to joining SPR, Ying practiced in the New York office of a leading global law firm where she was a member of the Project Development & Finance Practice. She received her Juris Doctor (JD) and Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) degrees from the McGill University Faculty of Law in Montreal, Canada. She received an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College, where she was the recipient of the Neal Oxenhandler Prize for outstanding work in comparative literature. She also holds a Master of Arts degree from Cornell University in English Language and Literature.
